Do you have trouble editing a single occurrence of a repeating event in Google Calendar? Find out how to fix this issue and learn more about managing recurring tasks, transferring events, deleting or changing dates in this helpful thread from Google support.
Open the Calendar app, and navigate to the event you wish to delete. You can do this by either searching for the event name at the top or tapping on the day of the event to view it. Tap the event to select and open it. Tap Delete Event at the bottom of the screen. Tap Delete Event from the pop-up window to confirm you want to remove this event.
There is a cancel button when you hover over the event. However, you cannot cancel and leave on calendar - you can right click on it, duplicate the event then delete the attendees before saving (the button will say Send, but it saves). Then cancel the meeting. My specialty is Outlook and Microsoft 365 issues.

For some reason, a series of events have been created in my calendar that are not considered as recurring events. As we're talking about 2 events per week for the next 3 years, I'm looking to Google Apps Script to delete these events from my calendar. The events have a single, specific name and are created by me.
Click the gear icon on the top right to open the Settings Menu and select "Trash." Choose a calendar on the left, if you have more than one, and you'll see all events you've deleted within the past 30 days. To restore a single event, hover your cursor over the event and then click the Restore icon (curved arrow) that displays on the right.
And have successfully added some objects to my google calendar. I am then trying to delete the events, using: service.events().delete(calendarId='primary', eventId='eventId').execute() While this would ideally work, I can't find a way to get the event ID of any of my events. How am I able to get/set my google calendar event Ids using python
